"Nothing is more frightening than recognizing your capacity to act and become."
— Søren Kierkegaard (Journals)
I currently live in Japan. Living in a different culture, learning a new language, and continuing to learn every day have given me a deeper understanding of how people grow, adapt, and change. Learning has never been just part of my profession; it has always been one of the ways I make sense of people, change, and life itself. I spend a significant part of my time exploring human development, learning, behavior, and what enables lasting, meaningful change.
I studied Economics at Istanbul University and later completed my MBA. My coaching journey began in 2019 with an EMCC-accredited Performance Coaching training, followed by Co-Active Coaching training with CTI Türkiye. Today, I have more than 450 hours of coaching experience, supporting individuals through student coaching, career coaching, and mentoring.
I don't believe coaching should be seen as a privilege reserved for executives or high performers. To me, coaching is a space for anyone who wants to better understand themselves, make intentional choices, and create greater clarity in their life.
For me, coaching is not about becoming a "better version" of yourself. It is about building a more authentic relationship with yourself—your values, your decisions, and the future you want to create.
I believe coaching skills are valuable far beyond the workplace. They can support us through many of life's transitions: becoming a parent, learning a new language, moving to another country, choosing a university, changing careers, or navigating uncertainty. I have experienced the value of coaching through both my clients' journeys and my own.
I also want to make an important distinction. If you believe you may need therapy, or if you're unsure whether therapy or coaching is the right place to begin, I encourage you to start with therapy. In that case, I may not be the right coach for you. Coaching is not about healing the past; it is about creating awareness, gaining clarity, and taking intentional steps toward the future.
If you find yourself thinking:
"This doesn't feel like me." "Something needs to change." "I know I'm capable of more, but I don't know where to begin."
Then we can explore what's possible—together.
My role is not to tell you what to do. It is to create a space where you can hear yourself more clearly, reconnect with what truly matters to you, and take meaningful, sustainable steps toward the life you want to build.
